Have you heard what’s happening on June 16th – 18th??  Julie Hein and I (along with Courtney’s tireless efforts behind the scenes) are sponsoring the Midwest’s FIRST line and couples dance convention SPECIFICALLY GEARED TOWARDS CHICAGOLAND’S SOCIAL DANCERS!!  Oh you thousands of bar dancers, this means you!!!  And calling all Beginners: we have something special for you!!!

Kat Warner & Eli Wilson of Indiana will be leading our Beginners Track on Saturday, June 17th.  That means they’ll be teaching THREE couples lessons (Double Two, Two Step, & West Coast Swing, Chicagoland’s most popular couples lead & follow dances).  Kat will also teach TWO line dance lessons, where you’ll learn at least 4 line dances.  If you don’t know how to dance, you sure will after spending the day with Kat & Eli!  They’ll explain everything to you and have you doing introductory steps, so when Saturday evening’s dance arrives, you’ll be ready to participate!  If you can’t attend the entire convention, make sure to be there Saturday; it’s just $65 for the whole day and night.  If you’ve always wanted to learn, here’s the perfect opportunity!

Additionally, we are bringing your bar instructors (Kickin’ it With Carol, formerly of Sundance Saloon, along with Julie & Don and myself, formerly of Cadillac Ranch) to teach during the day.  They’ll be joined by FOUR UCWDC World Champions (these dancers are REALLY GOOD!!):

– Eric Nava from Illinois
– Lynn Card from Minnesota
– Rachel Mercedes from Illinois

Your instructor staff is TOP NOTCH!!  If you had a private lesson with any of them, it would cost you more than the entire weekend’s fee of $99, guaranteed!  Please don’t miss this event; it’s truly the first of it’s kind, as we’ll be dancing all evening TOGETHER, like we do socially – but this time, the line dancers will have their own floor, and the couples will be on another floor a few feet away.  We’ll ALL be dancing in the same room to the same music, played by Chicagoland’s favorite, DJ DAVE!

Register at https://www.midwestcountrydanceparty.com by May 18th for only $99.  Such a deal!  The Early Bird price expires at midnight; at 12:01 am on the 19th, the price increases to $119.  We’ll happily collect an extra $20 from you, but we thought we’d be nice and remind you about the discount (which disappears as fast as Cinderella’s gown at the last stroke of midnight 5/18)!
