The older I get, the harder it is to remember.  Sound familiar?  The worst thing about dance conventions is my inability to remember everything I learned.  Sometimes it’s still in my head at the end of the day, but more often than not, as soon as I walk out of the lesson, I don’t remember what I just learned.  Anyone else have that problem?

As you know, the Midwest Country Dance Party – where we’ll learn all day and dance with DJ Dave all night (lines AND couples on their own floors!!) is the weekend of June 16 – 18.  We’re NOT offering a DVD with summaries of all the lessons for sale.  We ARE allowing you to video said summaries at the end of each lesson; the instructors are encouraged to do a quick review for you.  Make sure you have memory available on your phone!  Now is that super wonderful, or what?! Emoji

You have THREE more days to take advantage of the Early Bird price of $99 for the entire weekend.  Everything goes up at 12:01 May 19th!  We sure do hope you’re there to party with us, as it’s ALL social dancing and NO competitions!  If you don’t know yet if you can attend, never fear.  Registration is still open, but the weekend pass will be $119; it’s the same at the door.

Come practice your line dancing at Carmina’s with DJ Dave & me TONIGHT and every Tuesday EXCEPT 5/30 (7 – 10 pm, $10 cover, 2 line dance lessons by Yours Truly).

Our next weekend dance will be at the McHenry VFW on Saturday 6/3 and the Elgin Moose Friday 6/9 and Friday 6/30 (all are 7 – 11 pm, $10 cover, lines & couples hosted by DJ Dave & 2 line dance lessons by me).

Love you lots, and see you on the dance floor!
