Whaddaya think of a LINE DANCE WORKSHOP DAY?? On Sunday, October 22nd, the Dance With Janet team is debuting LINE-A-RITA at the Margarita Capital of the ‘burbs, Carmina’s Mexican Restaurant & Banquets in Elgin! This special 8-hour event with our very own DJ DAVE includes:
- Beginner, Improver, & Intermediate Line Dance Lessons from 1 – 4 pm
- Dinner Break at Carmina’s from 4 – 6 pm – Chicken Fajita Buffet & Soft Drinks
- Line Dancing with DJ Dave from 6 – 9 pm
I’m so excited to announce that MY INCREDIBLE DAUGHTER KATIE WILL BE CO-TEACHING THIS EVENT with me! We haven’t chosen which dances we’ll be teaching yet, so if you have any requests, send them on over! She and I will be on each side of the banquet room, so you’ll be able to choose from an easier and a harder line dance each hour. After dinner it’s the DJ DAVE SHOW; he’ll play the dances you just learned, plus all the other ones you know. We’ll be done at 9 because it’s a school night, you know. <wink>
Register by October 15th to catch the EARLY BIRD RATE OF $77 FOR THE WHOLE DAY! On October 16th the price increases to $90 to cover the 3 hours of instruction & 3 hours of line dancing. Please support our host as you catch your breath over dinner at Carmina’s (Dinner included in full day pass). It’s all under one roof; what’s not to love?
