as we bring Country Couples & Line Dancing Together for a 3-DAY DANCE PARTY!
Chicagoland’s dance community is the country’s best kept secret! We’re thousands strong, and we dance every day of the week in a variety of locations, yet our diversity is virtually unknown outside our area. It’s time to all come together and PARTY!
We’re keeping this simple to focus on what matters: learning to dance, improving our skills, and dancing the night away with DJ DAVE, who’s been our country DJ for the last 30 years. No competitions, just lessons during the day and TWO dance floors every evening in the same ballroom with lines and couples dancing to the same song concurrently. We are the Chicago Country Dance Community, and we can all dance – TOGETHER!
This weekend features special guests World Champions BRIAN BARAKAUSKAS & RACHEL MERCEDES along with Julie & Don and Kat & Eli teaching couples lessons! Award-Winning Choreographer LYNN CARD joins local line dance instructors Dance With Janet & Kickin’ It With Carol for line dance lessons! Our seven instructors will collectively present 32 country couples and line dance lessons – enough to leave you with your plate full, but not so many that you’ll forget the material (choose from up to 5 lessons per day).
