WOW, we’re done with a quarter of 2024 at the end of this week!  Time is flying by so quickly, isn’t it??  And my favorite holiday, EASTER is almost here as well.  I love going to Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and of course Easter services, and this year I look forward to attending at different churches.  I’m not going to be in town Easter weekend, so that brings with it a couple of schedule changes:

* Thursday 3/28 Elgin B1 class is CANCELLED
* Thursday 3/28 Darien B2 class WILL MEET with Betsy (in case you were wondering)
* Monday 4/1 Elgin Sr. Ctr. class WILL MEET with Karen P (no worries)
* Monday 4/1 Hanover Township B2 class WILL MEET with Karen P (she’s got this too)
* Monday 4/1 West Dundee B1 class is CANCELLED
* Monday 4/1 Algonquin B2 class is CANCELLED
* Monday 4/1 Elgin Couples class IS ON BREAK (Partner Patterns begins 4/8; have you registered?)

We’re still dancing at Carmina’s TOMORROW with DJ Dave ($10 cover from 6:30 – 9:30; I’ll be teaching 2 line dance lessons, THAT KIND OF GIRL & KEEP IT SIMPLE).  Also, March has FIVE Fridays, and we dance at the Elgin Moose on the second & fourth Fridays.  That means we won’t be back to the Moose until Friday April 12th ($10 cover from 7 – 11 w/ a line dance & partner pattern lesson); please note that means we’ll have three weeks till our next dance there.  Never fear, we’ll be dancing on that “off” weekend on the BIGGEST DANCE FLOOR EVER, the Hanover Park Dome, on Saturday April 6th ($10 cover from 6:30 – 9:30 following the same format as our Elgin Moose dances).

Yesterday it was my pleasure & honor to introduce line dancing to BEGINNER LINE DANCERS at the workshop at the Wheaton VFW.  It’s so exciting to share our favorite hobby with others!  Get ready for some new faces; this dancing thing is addicting, you know??!!
