Yes, yes, YES, we’re all back from our cruise, and boy oh BOY is it gonna take a while for the world to stop moving! It always takes me about a week to get my land legs back. Karen P. will still be leading the Beginners class at the Elgin Senior Center this morning, but my Beginner 1 class in West Dundee AND my Beginner 2 class at the Hanover Township Senior Center are both CANCELLED. My Improver/B2 class in Algonquin AND the new couples Two Step class in Elgin WILL BOTH RUN this evening. ALSO, the NEW START TIMES FOR WEDNESDAY CLASSES at the Upper Room (5:45 & 7:15) go into effect this week. So that’s not what’s happening only two months from today, but I had to get those items out of the way.
Here it is: TWO MONTHS FROM TODAY WILL BE MAY 3rd, and that’s when our Early Bird weekend rate of $119 for the Midwest Country Dance Party EXPIRES! Our hotel rate of $124 (for king & sofa sleeper OR two queen beds) at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake, where the event is being held, also expires that day. The schedule for the MCDP has been totally revamped, and let me tell ya, you are gonna LOVE the offerings! You’ll get tons of lessons from our fabulous instructors at all different levels. Beginners, this is the place to learn how to do what we do; we’ve got a special track just for you! By the end of the weekend, you’ll feel comfortable dancing, as you’ll have lots of practice time in the evenings. Line dancers AND couples dancers, don’t miss this; I promise it’s even better this year than last year! We’ve had time and experience to work out the kinks, you see.
